From P15 to Victory

Manuel Lettenbichler has won the Sea to Sky 2026. The KTM factory rider started the Mountain Race from the third row on 10 October and crossed the finish line in 3:40:01.78 hours. The current official results have Mario Román in second place and James Moore in third.

As of 11 October 2026. Result following the published disqualification of Teodor Kabakchiev.

Lettenbichler’s starting position was shaped by the previous day. In the Forest Race he had to deal with a brake problem. Ten penalty minutes were added to his riding time. The official timing lists a breach of the refuelling-point procedure; Mario Román and Thomas Scales received the same penalty. As a result, Lettenbichler was classified 15th.

From the third row to victory

On Saturday, the 64-kilometre course led from the coast near Kemer up to the finish on Tahtalı, also known as Mount Olympos. Riders had to pass 16 checkpoints. The finish was at an altitude of 2,365 metres.

Lettenbichler worked his way to the front early on his KTM 300 EXC. In the race report published by MX Large, he describes riding with Kabakchiev at first before being able to pull away. In the difficult final sections he extended his lead.

Official podium after Kabakchiev’s disqualification

The race reports published first still named Kabakchiev as runner-up. The official results list now shows the Bulgarian as disqualified. The event notice gives acceptance of outside assistance as the reason. That puts Román in second place, 4 minutes and 11.10 seconds behind. Moore completes the podium.
