Greece Rally: Tanja Kreidl listed with number 17
Category: Riders & Entries
Status: Confirmed – organiser entry; current position not verified
The official Greece Rally website lists the German rider Tanja Kreidl with number 17. The 2026 edition is scheduled for 20 to 26 September around Serres and includes a two-day marathon section towards Kavala. For 23 September, the programme lists the second marathon day with a total distance of 301 kilometres. A current stage or overall position for Kreidl cannot be derived from the organiser’s page that was opened; the entry alone also does not prove that she has completed a stage successfully.
MC Görlitz cancels the 2026 Zweirad- und Görlitz-Rallye
Category: Organisers & Events
Status: Confirmed
The ADMV Zweirad- und Görlitz-Rallye, planned for 26 September, will not take place. In its statement of 20 September, MC Görlitz gives as the reason that the minimum number of participants was not reached by the entry deadline. The joint event for motorcycles and cars is affected. The previously announced roadbook navigation run on minor roads in the Upper Lusatia and Lusatia regions is therefore off for this year.
Baja Sharish Gin: Simão wins, Santos loses lead through retirement
Category: Riders, Teams & Manufacturers
Status: Confirmed
Micael Simão won the Baja TT Sharish Gin Reguengos de Monsaraz–Mourão on a KTM, beating Tomás Dias on a Honda by 14.4 seconds; Gustavo Gaudêncio completed the podium on another Honda. Bruno Santos had started the final day as leader but, according to the Portuguese motorcycle federation FMP, retired in the first few kilometres after leaving the track. In the championship’s preview, Santos had announced the race debut of his new 2027 model-year Husqvarna FE 450. His run of three wins in the first three championship rounds thus came to an end. The new Husqvarna therefore belongs to Santos in this story, while winner Simão rode a KTM; a technical defect is not established by the federation’s report.
Hero in Morocco: Cornejo in RallyGP, Docherty and Ghorpade in Rally2
Category: Riders, Teams & Manufacturers
Status: Confirmed – entered line-up
Hero MotoSports Team Rally is entered in the Rallye OLA Energy du Maroc with Ignacio “Nacho” Cornejo in RallyGP and Michael Docherty and Shlok Ghorpade in Rally2. The official FIM entry list as of 18 September lists all three on a Hero 450 Rally: Cornejo with number 11, Docherty with number 19 and Ghorpade with number 22. According to the W2RC preview, the event is scheduled for 28 September to 3 October between Agadir and Zagora. Hero is thus spreading its entered line-up across the top class and two Rally2 riders; the entry is not yet proof of an actual race start.
