Dinaric Rally starts this weekend in Croatia, near Knin. Going through the start list, I noticed a few things worth reporting:
- Dinaric is full of German-speaking riders, and several of them are riding Malle Moto. In total, 35 riders come from the DACH region.
- For 2026, Dinaric has introduced fairly clear rules for Malle Moto. External assistance is banned. The motorcycles are kept in a separate parc fermé. Riders may only store limited equipment and spare parts, and have defined time windows in which to work on the motorcycle themselves.
- In addition, there is a UNTAMED Academy Trophy, either for the first time or explicitly, for riders who have previously completed the corresponding rally training.
I am looking forward to an exciting rally and will report not only here but also in the monthly podcast MakeItRally.
