Rallye du Maroc: Prologue opens a tight world championship duel
Category: Organisers & Events
Status: Confirmed – announced programme and championship standings
The Rallye du Maroc begins on 28 September with an 18-kilometre FIM prologue near Agadir, followed by five stages towards and around Zagora until 3 October. Daniel Sanders of Red Bull KTM Factory Racing arrives with a three-point lead over Tosha Schareina of Monster Energy Honda HRC, while KTM team-mate Luciano Benavides is six points behind the leader. The published entry list comprises 128 motorcycles in RallyGP, Rally2 and Rally3 as well as three quads; Rally2 alone accounts for 110 riders. In addition, ZXMOTO brings its new factory team to the W2RC with Skyler Howes, who expressly describes Morocco as a race test for the Dakar. At the time of editing in the morning, no prologue result was available. Source: W2RC preview and schedule · Entry list
Morocco Sand Race: Wagenpfeil 17th in both heats
Category: Riders & Participation
Status: Confirmed – published race report; final FIM classification not verified
The Morocco Sand Race in Mazagan near El Jadida opened the 2026/27 season of the FIM Sand Races World Championship on 26–27 September. In the heat results published by Motocrossmag, Daniel Wagenpfeil is listed twice in 17th place overall, with 16 laps in the first heat and 15 laps in the second. Mike Wiedemann appears in the same lists in 19th and 15th place. The report names Håkon Fredriksen and Damien Knuiman as heat winners. The overall positions listed are not documented world championship class placings; a final official FIM overall classification for Wagenpfeil could not yet be verified at the time of going to press. Fasola Rally Masterclass: Roadbook introduction for a 350-euro course fee
Category: Training & Getting Started
Status: Confirmed – organiser’s offer
Enduro Republic is offering a Rally Masterclass with Fabio Fasola on 3–4 October 2026 in Grazzano Visconti near Piacenza. Theory on reading and interpreting the roadbook is followed by navigated practice routes of around 120 kilometres per day. Participation costs 350 euros; riders using their own motorcycle need a working roadbook holder and tripmaster. Alternatively, a rental motorcycle including fuel is offered for an additional 300 euros for both days, while accommodation and, where applicable, rental protective clothing cost extra. This allows the financial entry into navigation training to be planned concretely, without confusing the course fee with total travel costs. Source: Enduro Republic
Addax Rally: From Race 1 to Malles Moto in Merzouga
Category: Organisers & Events
Status: Confirmed – organiser’s announcement
The Addax Rally is announced for 25–30 October 2026 in Merzouga and combines navigation, sand and stony tracks over around 1,600 kilometres. Race 1 covers motorcycles up to and including 450 cubic centimetres, Race 2 larger machines and Race 3 maxi trail bikes or twin-cylinder machines. The PRO routes, at roughly 300 kilometres per stage, are shorter than the around 400 kilometres of the ELITE class; for electric motorcycles, the organiser gives about 100 kilometres. Malles Moto is expressly restricted to Race 1 ELITE and is ridden without mechanical assistance. For motorcycle riders, an entry fee of 3,700 euros applies until 5 October, including half-board hotel accommodation, roadbook and a tracking device. Source: Addax Rally – categories and fees
Greece Rally: Kove win despite Svitko’s fastest time on a Ducati
Category: Race Results & Analysis
Status: Confirmed – published final classification
According to the official final classification, Benjamin Harvey-Grounds wins the Greece Rally on a Kove 450 Rally in 18:52:19 hours, ahead of Austrian Ferdinand Kreidl and Robert Parry, both on KTM EXC 450. Štefan Svitko of the Slovnaft Rally Team is listed separately on a Ducati 450 with an asterisk and without a rank, with a time of 17:09:09 hours. His documented overall time is therefore 1:43:10 hours below the winning time, but does not amount to a ranked overall Ducati victory. The results table gives no reason for the separate listing; the explanation of a voluntary withdrawal comes from the RallyTracks report, where it is based on information from the paddock. For “Ducati versus the rest”, pace shown and official result must therefore be considered separately. Source: official final classification · Background: RallyTracks

The transport scope includes the motorcycle, a toolbox up to 60 × 40 × 28 centimetres, two tyres or complete wheels, a flexible equipment bag of up to 80 litres, and a sleeping bag and mat.
