Josep García won the second riding day of the Six Days in Portugal by 2.79 seconds from Andrea Verona. After a crash in the penultimate special test, the Spaniard took the day’s win in the final test. Among the German club teams, Matthias Reichmann dropped out; Team Germany–DMV is 67th after two days.
The results refer to Tuesday, 13 October 2026, in Grândola. García was the fastest that day, but Verona still leads the cumulative individual standings: his advantage over his fellow KTM rider is 27.10 seconds.

García takes the final test
According to the Spanish federation RFME, García won three of the six special tests. In the fifth test he lost 13.69 seconds to Verona in a crash. With the fastest time in the last test, he still reached a daily time of 46:50.00 minutes. Zachary Pichon was third, 29.50 seconds behind.
Conditions remained dusty. The organiser’s official report describes heavily rutted tests on the second day over the same course. A new loop between Grândola and Santiago do Cacém is planned for the third riding day.
Reichmann out, Nordbayern in 18th
Robert Pairan reports at Baboons that Matthias Reichmann retired on the second riding day. The report gives no cause. In the published club team standings, Reichmann is listed with a stage time of three hours for day two. Team Germany–DMV, with Marco Pfeifer, Reichmann and Leonard Steiert, is listed in 67th place.
According to Pairan, Marco Pfeifer remained the fastest German club rider. The results list shows 55:54.01 minutes for him on Tuesday. Team Germany Nordbayern, with Luca Wiesinger, Sven Marker and Petr Krivanek, is in 18th. The ADAC Nordbaden team with Martin Werz, Paul Topor and Marvin Mohler is in 31st place.

Italy lead the World Trophy, France the Juniors
Italy extended their World Trophy lead to around 3:25 minutes over France. Sweden remain third. In the Junior category, the lead changed to France, who are now just over 29 seconds ahead of Italy. In the Women’s World Trophy, the USA still lead from Australia.
On the second day, Great Britain lost one rider in each of the three Trophy categories. In the World Trophy team, Jamie McCanney dropped out. The British team therefore continues the event with three riders.
